Besides making socks, I’ve wanted wanted to learn to knit gloves. I’m not sure which is harder, but they both have their difficult parts. For these particular gloves it would have to be the fingers and the seams.
Each glove is knitted flat, as opposed to in the round which I imagine you can do with gloves, then they’re seamed on the sides of the hand and fingers. The pattern I worked with is from Vogue Knitting Mittens and Gloves. The only addition I made was adding the rib knit cuff. The book has 20 patterns in a variety of styles so it’ll keep me busy for a long, long time.
